This is something I work with often so you’re in very safe hands. My approach is always about working with your skin, not against it, using thoughtful placement, tailored coverage and careful preparation to create a natural, luminous finish. Nothing is ever heavy or masking. If it’s helpful, I’m also happy to share guidance ahead of time to support your skin in the lead-up to your wedding.
That’s absolutely fine. When you enquire, you’ll be asked to share full details of everyone requiring hair and/or makeup so I can understand the scope from the outset. This allows me to ensure everyone is accounted for, appropriately scheduled and clearly priced.

Education has always been at the heart of my work. Melanie Educates is an extension of my belief that great makeup should feel empowering, intuitive and personal, never overwhelming or trend-led.
I offer one-to-one makeup lessons tailored entirely to you. These can focus on refining your everyday routine, learning techniques that truly work for your skin or creating a look for a specific occasion. Lessons are relaxed, practical and confidence-building, designed to give you clarity and ease so makeup becomes something you enjoy, not something you second-guess.

Yes. I work with clients on editorial shoots, brand campaigns, portraits and events. My makeup translates beautifully on camera, with an emphasis on real skin, balance and longevity. Commercial and editorial bookings are always welcome and are quoted individually. Submit an enquiry here.
Once you get in touch, I’ll personally respond to your enquiry, usually within a few days. From there, I’ll guide you through next steps, confirm availability and answer any questions you may have. There’s no pressure at any stage; it’s simply a conversation to see if we’re the right fit.
